Gifts That Last, founded in 1986 in historic downtown Madison, Indiana, invites you to browse through one of the most unusual shops located in this quaint town. From fine, custom jewelry and gemstones to other unusual treasures this store is sure to catch your eye and intrigue you. The blending of unusual artifacts and curios from many other countries it's not difficult to find the perfect gift for someone special or yourself! Most items can be gift boxed and gift wrapped at your request free year round.
After nearly twenty years or participating in major and local Arts and Crafts Shows, Alan opened Gifts That Last in its original location with only his hand-made 14kK gold, sterling silver and Limited Edition Wildlife Prints. Having built a reputation as a fine artist and craftsman, Alan found the transition to shop owner a simple task. He began to fill the shop with some of the most unique and unusual items available. He began traveling each year to Tucson, Arizona, location of the world's largest gem and jewelry shows. Now having made numerous trips to Tuscan the sellers now come to us!
One and one-half years of constant expansion resulted in the need for more room. It was then Alan purchased the building the shop is currently housed in. originally the Cobest Hotel, from approximately 1865 to 1925, the tradition of hospitality continues today as it was a century before. The friendly folks at Gifts That Last invite you to take a little while from your busy day to visit with them and share the uniqueness of their shop and all that Madison has to offer.
